Soft tissue therapy is hands-on treatment of muscles, tendons and ligaments. It helps with pain and stiffness in tissue that has been strained, overloaded or kept in one position for too long.
We use it with joint treatment and exercise so you are not just getting temporary relief.

Where it helps
- Muscle strains and tightness
- Overuse problems such as shin, calf and forearm pain
- Stiffness from desk work or driving
- The tight spots that return after hard training blocks
Techniques we use
Depending on what we find, we may use massage-style techniques, trigger point release, myofascial release, IASTM or dry needling. We explain which we are using and why.
Making it last
Tight tissue is often a symptom of something else, such as weak muscles nearby, a stiff joint or a sudden rise in training load. We look for that cause and give you a plan to deal with it.
For athletes
We plan soft tissue work around your training week, with lighter sessions near competition and more thorough work in recovery periods.

- A hands-on examination of the painful area and the joints and muscles around it

- Treatment at the first visit when it is appropriate, plus exercises to take home
